“My dream is to make stories of tzaddikim even more exciting and captivating for kids — showing them that the true magic lies in their own hiskashrus.”

What families say

Don't take our word for it. Take theirs.

I recently read the book you sent me, and I owe you a huge thank you for it! It turned out to be the perfect "relax on the couch" read that I desperately needed. One of the stories, the one about Pesach in Tyler, Texas (...

Reuven

My twin grandsons in Baltimore are having the stories read to them by their Rebbe. One of the twins already read the entire book anyway

Faigy

My niece came over today. When I told her we had volume 3, she literally clapped and cheered and ran to get it

Meet the creator

The storyteller behind the series.

Yosef Shidler is a photographer and storyteller who set out to give Jewish kids the same quality of content the rest of the shelf fights for — starting with the true stories of tzaddikim and their miracles. What began as one book became a bestselling series, built with a team of writers, researchers, and illustrators.

“If we don't give them good quality content,” he says, “they're going to find it in other places.” Five volumes later, kids around the world are proving him right — one flashlight under the blanket at a time.

Schools, camps & bulk orders

Teachers read them aloud; kids re-read them at recess. Ask about bulk pricing for classrooms, camps, and Chabad houses.
